I spent fifteen years in education. I loved it, and I thought that was the whole story.
Then my husband and I started a plumbing company out of a Jeep and a home office. We built it into a seven-figure business and eventually sold it. Somewhere in the middle of that, I learned the thing I now teach for a living: technical skill and leadership skill are different skills, and most companies only ever train one of them.
We put our whole team through formal sales training, because I bought the process before I ever sold it to anyone else. And I watched people who were brilliant at the work struggle the moment they had to lead the work. That is the gap.
So I came back to coaching, and I built the framework I wish someone had handed me.

Leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about how you show up, how you communicate, and how people experience you. I believe presence can be taught, trust can be built, and communication can be decoded. When leaders understand themselves and the people around them, they create stronger teams, better conversations, and better results.
THE METHOD
Presence can be taught. Trust can be built. Communication can be decoded. Julie's programs bring together four frameworks shaped by more than 20 years of experience in classrooms, boardrooms, and a trades company she owned and sold.
AIM
Julie's signature framework behind The Presence Effect: Attitude, Image, and Self-Management. Three skills that shape how you show up and lead.
